  • This wine has the faintest hue of pink in the glass while appearing completely white. Initially delicate aromas in the glass are a weird yet enticing blend of raspberry juice, watermelon and something slightly tangy and tropical, thinking kiwi. Dig too deeply with the nose and the acidity can be felt and overwhelms the senses. The palate blurs the lines between red and white wine in that I get some of the Pinot fruit, tart red berries, leading into racy, acid-driven flavors of grapefruit, oranges and other citrus along with traces of tart green fruit. The acids on this are great, they come on strong and give the fruit a sense of freshness without overcoming it, lasting long in the finish. The entire experience is fresh and vibrant. Definitely an interesting wine, and so far the best example of this style of wine I have had. It's worth trying on a bottle to see if it's your thing, that's for sure.
