Decanted 1.5 hours before drinking and proceeded to drink over the next 4 hours. Dark purple in color and reddish purple at the edges. Alcoholic and pleasing fragrance, but I couldn't place the scent. Medium body. Dark fruit - plums, blackberries and cherries. Short yet pleasing finish. Good for the first 2 hours, but gradually flattened out for the last 2 hours. Great value wine - $13!

I had this a few years ago, and liked it; this bottle was quite good, too. Rather different from a Côtes du Rhone, I think--although it is a Rhone blend, certainly. There was a stoniness and lack of sweetness that I very much appreciated, giving the fruit a purity of flavor.

The nose reveals elderberry, blackberry and other forrest fruits. In the mouth raspberry and blackberry as well as the elderberry make the wine very fruity, but it lacks some depth. There is a fresh acidity and very soft tannins, but the wine never grow to be something special. It is however enjoyable and most people would probably like it.

Subdued sweetness and fruit taste. Enjoyed drinking this unusual blend. Worth buying again at my local wine shop price of $15.

Hitting way above its weight. Bought for $13, and I will buy more. Great daily drinker.
