Stand by the 2015 note. This wine is precious. Dark ruby garnet color. Moderate rim variation. No flaws. Minimal sediment. Old world nose of dark fruits and florals. No tannin. No acid. Medium alcohol. Long finish. Paired perfectly with hard cheese. Amazing. Ready to drink, and, plenty of life left in this one.

Pours dark purple almost black. Blackberry and tar on nose. Dark fruit, anise and lemon essence notes through midpalate. Enjoyed with a dry aged ribeye. Still extremely tight for first couple hours as expected. Decant and wait at least an hour before drinking.

Blackberry, anise and dark fruit on nose. Similar notes on midpalate as lemon essence comes through strong, real strong. Lingers lemon through thick tannic finish. The tannins are very big for first 30 mins of opening slightly dissipates with time in the glass. By two hours opened the bottle is rounded out and drinking well. 2 years more in the cellar and the wine will be optimally.
