A dark, powerful wine, with blackberry joining the sweet cherry tones on the nose. Richer palate, plusher oak and fruit, but with a bright note to keep it fresh. Tannins are quite resolved, adding to the texture but not intruding. Otherwise no signs of age - perhaps the most ageworthy wine in the flight. Sweet ripe fruit in the mid, balanced by the power of the finish keep one coming back to the glass.

dark garnet translucency...bouquet of dark chocolate, cedar and tri-berry pie with undertones of dust and forest floor...young, fleshy, juicy and spicy with firm tannins and well integrated acidity...although a bit fruit forward for my palate and screaming new world style, I was pleasantly surprised...a much more sophisticated effort than Bedell's 2010 Merlot, however, it's a bit overpriced

Reserved, integrated blend. Didn't give it any time to open up but still good. Would seek out again
