Nose: Clean nose with a medium+ intensity. This wine is developing.
Right off the bat it is impossible to ignore the developing minerality of slatey stone and kerosene. With a little probing it is possible to detect the freshness of lime and green apple underneath but I always struggle with aged Rieslings as the tertiary notes are so powerful! Very slightly metallic on the nose too, I thought.
Palate: Off-dry Alcohol: Low - 8.5% Acidity: High - Mouth wateringly so! Body: Medium - Intensity: Medium Finish: Medium+
On the palate the lime really takes over, compliment the eye-watering acidity. Green apple and honey'd peach smooths this out with only a hint of the stony minerality - a hint of the future for this wine with further ageing perhaps? Drank this today during our lovely heatwave in Barcelona - the perfect drink for the weather!
Very good Quality. This is my first time drinking Canadian Riesling and I thoroughly enjoyed it - I will definitely be on the lookout for more bottles in the future. Can drink now but should also be possible to age further.

Very nice white. It followed an outstanding Tawse 2011 Wine Club white though so the competition was stiff. Very enjoyable though I should have chilled it longer than I did.
