  (Wine Tasting Club) Ruby with brown edges, medium legs, light sediment. Raspberry and prune aroma, rubbery raspberry flavor. Light body, dull/clean texture. Short finish and high acidity.

  Nose is definitely more to the peppery end of Syrah, with lots of red fruit to back it up. Dried red fruit is followed by leather and spice. Oak undertones. Long finish.

  January in Walla Walla; 1/25/2013-1/27/2013 (Walla Walla, WA): Nose is mostly spice and tobacco with some dried blackberry. Flavors tend to darker fruits with a spicy, peppery finish.
