A nice expression of WWV Merlot. Fruit forward but with gripping tannins that follow as well as some oak towards the end of the palate. Well made and will cellar for a few more years if you aren't ready to enjoy it now.

Decanted about one hour. Deep crimson color. Aromas of chocolate, plum, cherry and boysenberry. On the full side of medium-bodied, with firm tannin and flavors of vanilla, plum and ripe dark fruit; perhaps a little too ripe. After another hour the ripe undertones fade away, and the fruit is a bit brighter. Give it a couple of hours of air or hold for a couple of years.
