Rich golden color clear rim. Nose of stone fruit and orchard flowers and wet granite. Medium plus acidity. Palate of ripe apricots, honey and mineral overtones. Somewhat earthy nuances in a long sweet finish. Excellent wine.

Monthly Tasting Group: Chardonnay (Oceanaire, Mpls, MN): Medium deep gold color. This was over the hill and oxidative, there were some interesting and mildly redeeming qualities for me; butterscotch, lemon oil, and mature aromas, but the big picture wasn't there.

A very good wine. Crisp with light acid, depth and full flavor. Yellow-gold visual is appealing.

A little more oaky than my taste desires in French whites. I liked it, but Ensley did not
