Such a marvellous elixir ! Not for drinking ! This is for meditation ! But I had this wine as a three digit wonder on the tongue. This time i missed the last magic parts . Maybe a dull phase ? Spicy sweetness with a sharp acid backbone which is not noticable in the mouth but you feel it after 3 Glasses inside !! I will wait for the next bottle 96 ++

Dönnhoff Eiswein (2009-11) et al. (Chicago, IL): #33-12, 8.5% abv. From half bottle. Independently, I would be inclined to think that this was an outstanding bottle, but in a lineup with the 2009 and 2010, this bottle is the clear laggard. The nose shows a bit spicy, with almost some horseradish elements, and the palate, incredibly sweet, doesn't show either the same completeness or linear drive as the other wines.

(Dönnhoff Oberhäuser Brücke Riesling Eiswein) From 375 ml - light green-tinged yellow color; appealing, ripe apricot, ripe peach nose; very rich, peach and apricot syrup, mineral palate with a saline quality; long finish
(Dönnhoff Oberhäuser Brücke Riesling Eiswein) ($219.00) Note: there was a BA from the Hermannshöhle that might be sent to auction, and the now-famous “Skype” Eiswein picked from the Brücke on the 18th of January when Helmut was in Singapore and Cornelius was in NY with us, which was promising but had only just finished fermenting. But there was one final 2011 that sent me back to school, not just wine school, soul school. Rather than “cleaning up” my spontaneous notes, I reproduce them verbatim.
