Super solid Spanish QPR here. Deep ruby coloring. Aromas and flavors of plums, smoke, and chocolate, with medium body, acid, and finish. Crowd-pleasing party option for 8 bones.

I may have originally been attracted to this wine by it's really cool label. It is dark in color and has a very intense knows of black cherry, plum, leather and green pepper. Based on the nose I was expecting an excellent wine however the taste didn't meet the expectations. The dark fruit comes early but then the finish I'll be at fairly long, is rather tart and unpleasant. So I'd say this is your typical $10 bottle of Grenache but I'm always hoping for a little bit more. Good for every day drinking but I wouldn't drink it for anything more special. I still think it has a cool label.

Medium body with a dusty slate nose with some wood/oak. Beautiful ruby red color with a black licorice, charcoal taste that turns spicy with a dusty finish. This wine clearly tells the story of it life on the vine in a very rocky terrain. For the price, this is a very nice wine. Suggest drinking with sharp cheese and crackers.

Not bad. A little sweet for my palate. I usually prefer cab sauv. Good with food or alone
