  • In a really nice place now. Delicious. Perfect balance between primary fruits jumped into the secondary stage of blackberry, mulberry darkness, but nose still left in the blackcurrant heritage. Nice perfume of sweet tobacco, a whiff of dried herbs, black pepper, nicely integreated roasted characters and definately rooted in a very classic left bank style. Perfect balance of concentration, on the richer side but not overpowered, very drinkable and generous fruit with a nice tannic grip, just where I want it with food. Can be kept another 5-8 easily, but I love it where it is now. Fantastic effort from this producer. hats off! a true gem.

  • Nearly four years on and this is still a baby. Rustic, earthy, and rocky; this bottle featured a pleasant kiss of brett. I would not call it Margaux if blind, perhaps St. Estephe, and more likely Haut-Medoc. It also drinks similar to Cabernet Sauvignon heavy Tuscan offerings. Let it rest.

  • Full body, heavy minerals, drank over two days, I don't know how to say this other than it felt weighted in my mouth with significant depth.

  • When 1st opened a ton of funky earth and brett. After a double decant and open in the bottle for a few hours it rounded out with earthy funk, cellar dust, leather, tobacco, bright cherries and spices. Had side by side with another bottle open for 24+ hrs and they were very similar and showed well for aging.

  • This bottle had been double decanted 24 hours before being poured doubled blind. It showed greater weight than the other bottle, and the high pitched red fruits remained prominent. Tasted this bottle non-blind and could not place it in Bordeaux, especially not Margaux. Glad to have a few bottles to see how it develops. Worth a taste now; otherwise hold until 2018.
