  see craneford note for three wine comparison.. this wine is simply the best value among them. Good nose with violet, earthy smoky, and cherry fruit. on paletes, a little muddy first. but earhy, spice and tannic characters dominated subsquently. med- body and last well. More drier than craneford. However, not as nice. It appears the spice and tannins are not integrated well into the body. But still a great value wine. would buy again.
