Garnet/orange color. Licorice, cherry, tar, and prune nose. Medium-bodied with dry, peppery tannins and earthy, berry flavours. Still distractingly astringent on the finish; we were patient but it would be better if we waited another 10 years. 3.5/5

A pretty dark appearance with dark mature cherries, chocolate, leather, rosehip and even some sweet liquorice on the nose. Solid texture on the palate, fine and still very young tannins but at the same time juicy and approachable if you like the resistance. Perhaps fractions of early maturity here, especially the fruit seems darker and dirtier than last time, not finding any sweet notes of strawberries or such. Long aftertaste. Like it equally much this time, just in another way. This normale is beyond price worthy imo.

Classic Nebbiolo nose. Decanted for 3 hours, wide open at pour. Cherries, some sweet strawberries, rosehip, leather, dark chocolate, roses, fantastic nose. Of course very young on the palate with a firm tanninstructure although I would say it is very much approachable right now. Silky and elegant mouthfeel, more structure than fruit, Great value and a producer that never ever disappoints.

Strongish, herbaceous nose with liquorice, spiciness, wet dirt, flowers, sweet fruit like red apples, saltiness and yeasty bread. Full-bodied wine with balanced fruit, wet dirt and juicy liquorice on the palette. Dry tannins and very high acidity. Fruit needs to open up but it's a longish wine in general. Way too young but has potential. Worth following.

Dark transparent ruby red with orange rims. First nose has extremely raisin, then honey, fresh baked cake, rose and vanillin. Second nose comes with blueberry, mulberry, chocolate, cloves and some tobacco. Very rich and intense in the mouth. I would call it balanced if the tannins are not that strong. They are extremely strong and this is a great wine to experience what astringency is. It is an extremely astringent wine but it is felt after some time during the long final, so still the quality of wine makes me feel like keeping the wine in my mouth for some time to enjoy, before swallow. There are blackcurrant, red apple, raisin and licorice aromas in the mouth with a hint of leather. The strong tannins of that full-bodied wine can handle strong dishes too. It is a serious wine. This DOCG Barolo is highly recommended to consume with Mozart, a touch of "Le Nozze di Figaro", tested and proved. I would prefer it to enjoy by drinking without food.
