dark fruit, earth, tar and a touch of prune. I preferred the plush texture and forward fruit of the 90. Still this is very nice and I expect will improve.

Solid cork and base neck fill. Color just starting to brown, but after 30 minutes in the glass the fruit started to emerge. Although at the end of its drinking window, this wine still had great pleasure. A nice food acidity, typical mushroom and forest floor elements with delicate black and red fruits. 20 second finish.

BYO Blind Tasting: Dark berries and gunpowder; a bit muted at first; High tannin and acidity, the structure is verging on overtaking the very fine (and dark) fruit below. Does not come across as a modernist Barolo. Still has potential.

Wines of Roberto Voerzio (Del Posto): Elegant and refined wine. Plenty of fruit left, with fully integrated tannins, silky. Mostly reduced red berries on the palate, still complex. Drinking perfectly now.

After a decant it still gained in the glass. Powerful, red fruit, intense. Great wine.
