  Glass: Riedel Vinum Syrah
  Clear, pale golden color. Clean, medium intense, developing nose with aromas of vegetables, wet stones, yellow stone fruit and some spiciness.
  Dry, with high, but balanced acidity, medium alcohol. Might lack a bit of power on the mid palate but it is quite intense on the long finish. It ends with the typical GV “Pfefferl”, a taste of mild white and green pepper, which stays for seconds. Certainly not at its peak, but quite beautiful to drink at the moment.

  Very good GV. Light golden Color, beautiful GV nose, intense and Long on the palate, bone dry. Has years ahead and will improve. If you drink it now use big glasses and give it time to breathe.

  Österreich: Parallel zum Ried Lamm Reserve von Weingut Hirsch verkostet.
  2 Stunden dekantiert.
  
  Dichtes, dunkles Goldgelb. Tolle, sortentypische Nase mit schönem Veltlinerpfefferl. Am Gaumen dann Feuerwerk... Ried Lamm war ein wirklich beeindruckender GV aber hier ist der Begriff "GROSS" angebracht. Schlägt den Ried Lamm in Tiefe, Aromenvielfalt, Balance, Länge...
  
  Tag 3 - Mineralik pur! Es kommen auch deutliche Apfelnoten dazu und der Wein ist irgendwie ruhiger, abgeklärter...

  Première bouteille ouverte d'un produit acheté directement en Autriche lors de mes voyages d'affaire.
  Nez: Très subtil. C'est frais & minérale. Avec le temps, des notes de fumées, d'agrumes, de goudron & une touche florale se développent.
  Bouche: Le vin offre une belle attaque vive. Le vin prends de l'ampleur en milieu de bouche. Bonne longueur. Acidité bien présente. Finale poivrée. Amertume présente en fin de bouche.
  En résumé, vin très agréable qui offre une belle vivacitée. La fraîcheur que ce produit apporte est agréable. En revanche, je m'attendais à plus de complexité. Cependant, il faut dire que plus la soirée avançait, plus les saveurs semblaient moins "tranchantes"... Il me reste une autre bouteille mes du 2011. Je vais essayer de conserver cette dernière pour une dizine d'années.
