This was spicy and filled out the mid-palate pretty well. Still, I think this is more for the (pricier) cocktail wine crowd, and thus it's nothing I'd look to purchase.

  Lush ripe red fruit. A bit of spice on the nose and the mid palate. Nice long finish...Still more fun with this wine

  drank very impressively with a wide variety of small plates (although those with beef were pretty spectacular). Started well, but opened over time so well that the 2 non-cab drinkers of the 4 who tasted were asking for more in a tone that could not safely be refused. A very fine maker--but more importantly a wine that has developed very impressively. A bit of sweetness, some tannins, and a ways still to go if I am guess correctly.
