The wines age has softened the colour to a deep garnet with clear rim. Aromas of integrated oak and mature fruit, dried florals. Palate is very bright, fullish raspberry, cranberry, orange peel, lithe texture that presses the tongue, and silky tannins that linger to the shortish finish.
Accuracy 2/2 Balance 2/3 Complexity 2/3 Depth 1/2

Monthly Tasting Group EEE #043; Beaujolais (@ MG): Special bouquet with perfume, soap, something chemical and vanilla. On the palate much better with mature red berries, some smoke, oak, earth, firm acidity, soft tannin and some rustic impressions. On the palate quite ok, but the bouquet keeps the score low.

Dark cherries, orange peel, and a bit of weathered oak. Short on the finish. this was not as complex as I was expecting.
