Purchased from a reputable Willamette based cellar in 2020. Decanted and consumed over two hours. Golden hay in color. Initially, wonky and disappointing. But, with air this began to show as expected. Light-moderate aromas that changed from caramel to honey, then oyster shell, followed by lemon zest. With air the acidity began to show, but not as much as 2009. Moderate flavors of lemon zest and salinity, with a bit of tingly acidity. Medium+ body. Moderate complexity/finish. Drink now or hold for a couple more years then reevaluate. Possibly still some upside.

A great American Chardonnay and a ringer for white Burgundy. Full nose of rich orchard fruit, melons with some notions of citrus and white flowers. Very good concentration and drive. Precise and focused with great acidity.

Post Tasting Wine Dinner (Brasserie Margeaux - Chicago IL): Ripe apple and pear with enticing floral and spice support. Similarly rich flavors with good concentration, soft textures and good length. Maturing slightly faster than I might hope / expect, but at a very good place now.

I opened a bottle that was pre-ox'd, reminding me of white Burgundy when that sort of thing happens. I made sure to check in on another bottle and it was absolutely wonderful, no signs of pre-ox. This is starting to show signs of age but still has all the powerful acidity and texture of it's youth. Worth checking in on if you have some, it's in a fun place right now.
