PnP. Bright deep cheery red with a clear rim - darkish but still pinot. Crushed cherry aromas with a bit of a grape stem and cinnamon. Medium(-) with astringent black tea and green stem tannins. Cherry and cranberry with a touch of baking spice. Very drying on the finish. Got better over a few hours of drinking.

Back in Apex ski resort with winemakers of Okanagan valley (Apex, BC, Canada): Blind tasting. Nose of coffee, moka. Mouth opposite of the nose impression; straight, tannic, a bit green in fact. Crunchy fruit, with some vegetal notes. Even if the hue is light my answer was a simple Crozes Hermitage. So you can imagine the style. In fact it is whole clustered harvest. I don’t thinck is really needed in a region of such natural acidity. Vegetal notes is not the best way for finesse. Still good. 86
