the two tasting notes from 3/7/07 were about a bottle i provided. i hadn't taken up the cellartracker! note mantle as of then, and probably posted on erobertparker. in any event, THAT bottle was sensational; This bottle was very green, and thin in the midpalate, a HUGE disappointment. once again, bottle variation is a bitch.

Phoenix eRP Offline - California Cabernet Sauvignon (Backstreet Wine Salon, Phoenix): Violets, blackberries, boysenberries. Firm tannins. Great balance and lively acidity. Layered mid palate. Very light on its feet. Lengthy, rich finish that lasts for over 60 seconds. What a fantastic wine. My personal WOTN.

Backstreet - California Cabernets (Backstreet Wine Salon, Phoenix, AZ): Fragrant, aromatic nose. Very different from the other cali-cabs we had the same evening. I liked it quite a bit.
