Smoke dominated everything. Salinity was trying to come through while fruits completely failed (maybe it's all gone). Decent acidity framed the palette. Overall I would call this an uninteresting wine.

Very smoky on the nose. The palette had more stuffing with some sour citrus and just enough acidity. I liked the mouthfeel even though the finish was a little short. I must say that it was better with pan-seared scallops with spaghetti than by itself.

Light, bright yellow. Mild and integrated reduction partially hides the fruit but also delivers pleasing notes of gunflint and matchstick, accompanied by hazelnut and lemon pith. Great minerality and nuttiness on the palate. This is a balanced, attractive wine that is accessible today but should evolve well for several years.

Short tasting note today. Excellent. Grapefruit, smoke, menthol, great texture, long finish, touch of earthiness.
