  • A very DP Birthday party (DP's, Goose Hollow, Portland OR): This was poured from Magnum. The nose is open and fragrant with balanced tones of lemon curd, custard, meyer lemons, orange peels, quince, limes, flint notes, and some toast. There is excellent depth and style as this is showing a rounded character to the tones while leaning into the stone and tree fruits. The Medium bodied feel is fresh and textured along with tart, medium+ acidity that is backed up by a stone fruited finish. This is drinking beautifully and has plenty of life ahead of it. A 750 may show slightly more age, but there is plenty of runway here and it feels like there could be another gear.

  • A little coulour to this wine. Pear and flower nose - tight. Good density of fruit on the palate but this is not generous, yet. Medium long mineral finish. 3.6
