  Lovely apple, citrus and hazelnut complexity on the nose. Some butter toffee aromas also; lovely entry, really gorgeous fruit unfolds. Great length, beautifully defined. A really charming Charmes.

  Developing medium gold colour; very subtle nose in keeping with previous notes. Almonds, white flowers, blossom, lemon rind and apples. A hint of butter and cream. Good complexity but perhaps not the most typical Meursault aromas; better weight on the palate which has a nice mineral streak and full rounded flavours and shows good length. Lovely honeyed oatmeal finish. Finally showing its class though perhaps will be truly on song in another 6-12 months.
