  Impressive, chewy and deep but not very expressive right now, there's green tropical fruit, lemon, nuts, this is still really tight but promising for the next few years.

  Pretty nose of ripe lemons and flowers. Medium bodied with medium+ acidity. Mix of ripe and tart lemons, rocky minerality, subtle oak. Great intensity in the mouth and a long finish. This punches way above its weight class.

  This wine gave a very good showing. It is somewhat straightforward but focused with crisp acidity on the medium length finish. This drinks well now and may benefit from an additional year or two of bottle age.

  '10 Montille Blancs (Vin Vino Wine, Palo Alto, CA): A slight step up in weight from the Rully with the same zippy, high acidity. Some stone fruit to go along with the lemons.
