Others have posted different content; I'm reviewing the 90% Grenache bottle. Decanted for about an hour before tasting. Nose: slightly sour cherries, strawberries, pepper and asphalt. Palate: Smooth, slightly grainy and mild tannins. Nicely integrated wine. Peppery and very pure fruits dominate early as the milerality rides on the back of fresh acidity. Smoke and leather are also present. Finish: Smoky tobacco persists as does the strawberries carried by juicy acidity. Overall a great wine for the price, and sitting in a great place right now. I wouldn't wait any longer. The flavors are obviously nice, but they are a bit delicate; this is a reserved wine. Therefore, I'd avoid serving it alongside food that has strong flavors. Probably best for either mildly flavorful food or on its own. Addendum: 3 hours after opening, the last glass is taking on some serious Chinese 5 Spice/spice box qualities on the palate and finish.

Great QPR. Silky mouth feel, bright red berry fruit, and a very charming minerality. In a year or two, this wine will reveal its true potential, but very good now. A very well crafted wine.

Yakima Valley Maiden Voyage Tasting Tour!; 11/14/2012-11/18/2012 (Yakima Valley AVA, Naches Heights, Snipes, Horse Heaven Hills, Red Mountain, Rattlesnake AVAs): Plush red fruit, crushed river rocks and black currant aromatics. Rounded on the palate, filled in and polished. Red fruit, bright and lifted with seeping minerality on the finish.
