Lively wine open for business. Very much in line with the previous recent notes. Really impressed by the tanins structure, velvety yet structuring. In a good window now

Drank this over ~2-3 hours. Started with blackberry and lavender, followed by tobacco and finished the night showing licorice flavors. Was fading by the end, so I recommend drinking up.

Wet soil and old wood. Dark fruit and a hint of rancio. Very secondary. Unusually advanced development. This was kept in temperature controlled storage since purchase. Perhaps this bottle wasn't shipped properly. Oh well.
