Cross-section of cherry aromas and flavors with faint spice hints, roasted meat, and just a bit of earth. Bright from start-to-finish, with a nearly minerally finish. Good+ weight and length. I like where many of the better Willamette 2012s are now.

Popped and poured...plenty of structure, fairly 'large' as Oregon pinots go, it took some coaxing to get much on the nose. Drinking fine, but I think time will help. At about four hours open the tannins seemed to soften and it came into better balance.

Black and red cherry throughout with subtle hints of spice, autumn florals, savory spice, English tea, and braised meat that unfold with time, along with minerally textures. Medium weight is nearly offset by the layers and nuance that emerge. Very good now.

WAG Holiday Hedonism Tasting: Very similar to my 5/14 note! Black cherry, plum, and earth notes supported by the usual significant Broadley structure. They usually need time and that time is coming! Now-2025.

typical of the '12 vintage - drinks easy but nothing spectacular. i drank right from cellar ~60 degrees - thought better that way
