Brought to Maryann and Andy's for an impromptu - "Italian Seder" on second night of Passover. Well received by the group - though I didn't think it was anything special.

Did have the dried fruit and raisin of an Amarone, but not the body. In fact it was much lighter than I expected. Popped and poured and drank with Chicken Parm. Opened up after a bit.

Usually like it, this bottle may have aged too long.

Thin and acidic. Likely past prime.

Drank this on its own and was not very impressed. Might be better with food but should never have bought such a poor vintage to begin with.
