Value in Champagne? (Todd's): The group liked this more than I as well. Orange/ruby in color. There is a lot of fruit on the nose. Red apples and cherries. The froth is a bit light at this point. There are some blood oranges on the palate. I may have detected some TCA, but it might have just been old/musty as it went in and out. It got no first place votes but no last place votes either. There is a nice intensity about this wine but it never rose to great heights for me.

Great wines for no special reason (Duke's house): I love champagne but sometimes find a slight bitter quality in the rose wines. There was none of that here. This one is coming into it's own with full, round flavors, a touch of warm yeast and zingy red fruits. Small and persistent mousse lasted for quite a while. The wine came together nicely as a whole and was a great start t the evening.

raspberry-orange color slow, fine bubbles burnt caramel, medium + finish floral palate with fresh strawberries, raspberries, with a hint of honey suckle a decent bubble, possibly a little over-priced

Perfectly stored yet already turning orange. Plenty of spritz left and plenty of yeast yet the wine is not offering up much in the way of complexity. Average Rose and not worth the money.
