  • Pretty shut down right now both on nose and palate. Try again in a few years!

  • I believe Vogue wine needs more time than other producers. Incredible power and flirty aromas on the nose. Backwards, brutally young but potent. Will be amazing. Needs twenty to thirty years to unfold the Vogue power and Les Amoureuses sophistication. (95/100)

  • Deep, vibrant, ethereal, sexy, feminine, perfume, lifted, floral with sun ripe raspberries, wild strawberries, cherries, minerals, limestone, transparent and extremely clean showing.
Like flower perfumed clean sheets drying outside in the summer.
A touch of Bordeaux spicy pencil shavings present that I have not found in any previous vintage in this crown jewel of Vogûés lineup, but this only ads an extra interesting spiciness to this intriguing never ending peacocks tail like nose.
On the palate this is as fantastic as on the nose.
Acid and sweetness in perfect harmony!
Fat, clean and sweet sun ripe fruit, raspberries, sweet ripe pink grapefruits, chalky minerals and limestone.
Silky, feminine and velvety super long finish with superb nerve, acidity and structure.
This is a peerless and such transparent version of Les Amoureuses, almost as fine as the 2010.
    Unbelievable!

  • France 2013 - Côte d'Or; 4/24/2013-4/26/2013 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. From barrel. These vines are located at the most southern part of the vineyard. Hint of reduction and minerals on the nose with lovely pomegranate, raspberry and other darker pinot fruit. Some spice too. Extremely pure, silky and velvety on the palate. The purity is equally matched by the energetic and lively acidity. Candied red fruits with a limestone and mineral laden finish. There’s plenty of intensity but with a lighter and elegant body. (93-96).
