What a dropoff compared to 2009 - the vintage was a lot cooler and this is shown in the red berry and cherry aromas of the nose and palate - a lot of acidity and slightly unripe tannins, which make this wine seem a bit disjointed, and a (compared to 2009) quite short finish make this a rather lightweight cuvee. Not the style I'd expect from a Rosenberg, though it will be interesting to see what this tastes like in 3-5 years time. I think this will last and improve.
