Still quite a bit of toasty oak but this wine is of high quality and shows a fine mix of red and black fruit, spicy oak, tobacco, soft tannins, balanced acidity. This is a wonderful and tasty wine. At peak now, but will hold. - 91 points

Much better integrated and balanced than 2 years ago, still quite a bit of toasty oak but it is of high quality and goes very well with the right food match; a fine mix of red and black fruit, spicy oak, tobacco, soft tannins, balanced acidity. This is a wonderful and tasty wine. At peak now, but will hold. - 91 points

An impressive wine with lots of roasted oak and spices, smoky Bordeaux style, juicy, red berry fruit, mouthwatering acidity, some vanilla and milk chocolate, the tannins are softening, a bit too much heat on the finish. More oak and heat than the softer and more balanced 2009, but the spicy character and acidity lend interest and tension. Should continue to age well. - 90 points

This is an amazing bottle, smells and tast like a much younger wine, it‘s on its peak and will still hold for several years.
