For 7 years aged white wine I expected coloured water BUT it had very nice smoky, white flesh fruit aroma. Pineapple and melon taste with noteworthy acidity and a little sweetness.

Winemaker Angelos Iatridis thinks that this is the best sauvignon blanc vintage he has produced to date, and being a follower of this cuvee over the recent years, I have every reason to believe he is right. Medium to light yellow-green color. Explosive nose of tropical fruits like pineapple and lychee with scents of green figs, fig leaf and lime zest. Some yeasty scents are still present that will probably disappear after a few months of cellaring. Medium-bodied, astonishingly crispy and vibrant with mouth-watering acidity. Incredibly long, almost endless aftertaste with this wine's signature zesty, savory element, but in a more refined form compared to previous vintages. Give it a couple of months in the bottle to settle down and enjoy over the next 3 to 5 years.
