Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • The name reflects the fact that the fruit is from vieilles vignes. Bright purple that sorta lets you know it resents coming out to play; it deepens as it hangs out in the air. A funky, earthly nose. It is deep and somewhat layered with cherry, herbs provence and perhaps some anise. And I’m only scratching the surface. A tight wine with goodly tannins. It will be worth the wait. With assorted blue cheeses including Bleu du Basque. 03.30.07
