  12% alc. Mid garnet with noted dried raspberry, wet dank undergrowth, stewed red fruits with a hint of tar and raw meat. the palate offers gobs of ripe sweet fruit, medium in body, lovely depth of fruit, with richness and width to the mid palate and a firm, chewy tannins. As it opens there is preserved fruit: raspberry, strawberry with black olive, balsamic and a hint of maraschino. Wonderful concentration of fruit, with a strawberry balsamic glaze on a medium finish. After half an hour the original freshness had become a little dried out and the tannins became more leathery. Drink up
