Great SB. I did not get any grapefruit like you get from a lot of New Zealand SB's and that others have noted. For me, it was citrus and tropical fruit flavors. Big for a SB which I found delightful. Bottle was finished before I knew it.

Popped and poured, light gold/straw hue. Forward nose of lemon verbena, lemon oil, orange cream soda, minerals and a touch of green funk...certainly shows the citrus side of Sauvignon Blanc without veering into grapefruit land. Medium-light body. Mineral-driven palate, significantly so....and while there's also quite a bit of fruit (obviously), everything's driven by the pronounced impression of saline minerals. Savory & sumptuous yet racy on the lengthy close, which ends with a bit of heat. Captivating juice, could use another year or two.
Best Quivet Sauvignon Blanc to date? Could be.

Very harsh finish detracts from what might be a good expression of fruit. The tropical flavors are pleasant enough but not enough to make up for a wine that seems unbalanced and a bit disjointed.

Better than first bottle last spring. Citrus and lemon flavors are more pronounced, balancing the acidity.
