Pale brass. Subtle flowers on the nose. Predominately stoney with a strong minerality, some lemon lime and a bit of sherry. No sweetness at all. Another very interesting Rhone white. I love this stuff! Good finish and decent mid palate. Buy again!

This is a lighter Crozes and I was surprised to find that it is 100% Marsanne. Green straw color, with melon and pear on the nose, and something floral. Pretty bold, firm structure through the mid palate of peach and melon (or is that still the nose?), orange peel transitions toward the finish of light minerality. Ends with jasmine and honeysuckle. I really like this wine, though perhaps a bit less at $25.

Clearly what I was drinking was something very different to the juice the other people who've posted notes here were drinking. Where was the Marsanne in this? Medium acid, some decent weight, mostly fresh apple flavours, tasty and well-made but overpriced and could be a Chardonnay as easily as a white Rhone.

Lemon oil, lemon verbena, field flowers, mineral and stone fruit on the palate. Very fresh and alive. On the palate the wine shows more crunchy apple-y tree fruit, raw quince, melon rind. Salty, calcareous minerality. Fresher style of Crozes-Hermitage Blanc, very straight.

Very nice Crozes Hermitage. Plenty of minerals and soft fruit. Great with smoked Turkey.
