  nose: very fresh and fruity [red & black] with white pepper and violets
  
  palate: a bit tart and thin, but with good flavors of blackberry, underripe strawberry, and a litttle smoke. gritty little tannins almost fail to register until the end. finish is citrusy and shortish.
