Give it a few minutes in the decanter to smooth out a bit. Soft dark berries and cherries, medium intense body, smooth tannins. Nice medium long juicy finish. This is drinking very nice right now.

Delicious wine, perfect now. Dark, almost inky purple, with modest aromas of smoke, dry brush, and blackberry. Dark Chocolate and cocoa with luscious blueberry and blackberry, all the flavors are balanced and the tannins are soft and mature and supporting, a little acidity to peak the primary fruit flavors. This wine is not complicated, just delicious. Drink now.

Inky purple color, with aromas of dark fruit, cinnamon and white pepper, and subtle cedar. Full bodied flavors of blackberry, pomegranate, and dark chocolate. Still has tannin, acidity, and fruit intensity to go another 5 years, but good now with a little airing out.

The palate is less opulent than it’s alcohol listing might indicate with tart fruit flavors and a soft feel backed by somewhat grainy tannins. Give one to two years. 100% Syrah. Seven Hills Vineyard. Aged 18 months in small oak barrels (40% new). 15.0% alcohol. 1,015 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
