Very polished modern winemaking, linear and lemony with some richness, but no great length or complexity. Probably needs a little more time in bottle as does the vineyard I suspect. According to their website the fruit comes from two vineyards, one planted in 1985 the other in 1997. The major drawback is cost - far more interesting chardonnays from elsewhere at this price point.

A full-bodied Chardonnay with liquorice, lemon curd, orange zest, tropical fruit.

Wife not big on whites, but this one she liked. Not a refreshing wine on a hot day white, but definitely a quality dinner white.
