  • Very impressive wine even after 22 years of cellaring I expect it would’ve been better a few years ago when there would be more of the fruit left, perhaps after 10 to 12 years of cellar time. However, there were still remnants of some red cherry, and a very smooth flavour full of tertiary mysteries.

  • Fully tertiary, loads of leather, bramble. Quite a good amount of acid and tannin with fading fruit.

  • Abierto con el sacacorchos de laminas el tampón salió bien, entero y no totalmente empapado. De color granate de capa media con ribete atejado. La nariz ha desarrollado un atractivo bouquet que incluye cueros finos, flor ajadas, especiados, frutilla licorosa y hoja de tabaco. En boca la entrada es buena, el desarrollo atractivo, con un tanino delicado y pulido, acidez media, estructura media/baja, textura algo terrosa y bastante longitud. Atesora mucha finura.

  • Decantado unas dos horas. Color púrpura de capa media-alta con borde muy atejado. Aroma de intensidad media pero altamente excelente, a partes iguales muestra fruta negra madura, muy bien combinada con cuero , tabacos rubios y un toque balsámico. La boca es elegante, potente, bien equilibrada, con excelente acidez, muestra sabores esencialmente de frutas negras de bosque, ausencia total de madera (aleluya ¡¡) y final largo.
    Un gran vino, que se encuentra en plena forma y al que le daría al menos 15 años más para continuar así.

  • Probably the softest and roundest of the 6pack we had and easily the most welcoming of all the bottles. That been said it was also the simplest and thus not the best of the bottles . A range of 90-93 over a year and a half and this was a 91
