  • Shared with pat at Selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. I had deferrd opening this bottle due to lack of tasting notes or reviews to offer guidance re: longevity. The wine was shown again at the Stage Left Hendry Pre-dinner tasting and seemed a little tired. My bottle proved to be in better condition. Although shy on the nose, it is full of fruit on the palate it a rich mouth feel. Fruit nectar including honeysuckle and peach. Very generous. Crystaline sediment adheres to the bottle. Does not affect tasting experience. Went well with tuna salad. Although pleasurable, I would suggest drinking within a year.

  • Light straw color in the glass, with aromas of mixed citrus and green apple fruits. On the palate, tart lemon, lime, and mineral flavors turn creamy, offering an attractive balance and texture. Feminine style, with a medium finish. Best vintage of this wine by Hendry to date.
