The Marsanne showed quite prominently on this occasion - whiter fruit elements, quite textural. Enjoyable and plenty of time left but didn’t show as well as the Roussanne curves usually do. **1/2

Light gold in colour, this was decanted for half an hour before drinking. Rich and buttery peach fruit with pear drop overlay, some savoury hints but very much in the background. I think the single grape cuvees might be preferable but this showed well and certainly has 5 years or so left. ***

Monthly Tasting Group EEE #030; A mixed set from France (@ BD): In the bouquet white fruits, smoke and minerals. Same on the palate. Ripe yellow fruits. Very beautiful and complex wine with good acidity. 91 – 92

Monthly Tasting Group LTB 2013-10; Northern Rhone (by HV, RvR, AdJ): Floral bouquet with yellow fruits and a pleasant dose of oak. On the palate soft yellow fruits, soft bitterness and pleasant oak. Good freshness and also a bit creamy. Tasty wine.
