A bit of an earthy old world tempranillo. Balanced and has the promise of being a nice food wine. I enjoyed it with braised veal cheeks and sweetbreads.

Had this about a week and a half ago, no formal notes taken. A very nice 'food' wine, well balanced. Paired well with grilled Filet. A real nice wine for $14.

Brown Bag Challenge (Table & Vine): Simple candied fruit; a bit grenache-like. Some lactic flavors. Cotton candy. Tastes "cheap". $14.99.

Straight forward fruit nose.
Red berries. Slight hints of leather.
Balanced, and slightly sweeter than expected.
