Black cherry combines with a surprising spice and even a little pepper and the expected earth to make a pleasantly complex wine with a velvety mouth feel and a long dark spicy finish. This is tasting great right now, sorry it is our last bottle.

Tasty wine. Dark cherry fruit, almost fortified, with so e earth as well. Best with roast lamb in an herbal spice rub. Setved after Adelahein Ribbon Springs PN 2006 ( same vintage) but the Adelsheim outshone it. Great value for $17 pn close-out. Drink now

Pre-Birthday drive in the Willamette Valley: Very very darkly complected on the nose. This even smells like port and dried fruits; perhaps like a late fall apple orchard. There are more soft red apple flavors on the palate, which is quite soft texturally. This wine comes across as incredibly laid back and mellow on the palate, but there's some acidity noted. Creamy and luscious finish.
