  • Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of light ruby colour, with fading garnet rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, with medium (-) intensity aromas of black fruit of prune, red fruit of ripe cherries, oak notes of toast, sweet spice of cloves, kernel notes of roasted almond, dairy notes of butter, maturity notes of mushroom. The wine is developing.
Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium tannin of ripe and velvety texture, medium (+) alcohol, medium body and medium intensity flavors of black fruit of blackberry, red fruit of ripe cherries, kernel notes of roasted almond, sweet spice of cloves. The wine has a medium (+) finish.
Conclusion: Good quality Italian Pinot varietal with relatively light fruity and ripe red fruit nose supplemented by some sweet spice and development aromas, the wine has a nice elegance, demonstrating velvety tannin but rather strong in alcohol, with reasonable concentration of flavors and a fairly long finish. It is ready to drink now but can maintain for another 2-3 years.
