  Medium ruby. On opening it was bright and precise, balanced with lively acidity. On night two it showed complexity and roundness, and rich dark fruit came to the fore. On night three it became all the more generous. Interesting and enjoyable evolution.

  Expressive nose. Sweet fruit. Tart, a bit hot, noticeable minerality and spice.

  La Paulée Burgundy Week Tasting at K&L Wine Merchants (K&L Wine Merchants(Redwood City, CA)): Lifted red fruit, spice, caramel aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with lively acidity, soft well-integrated tannins, and tart cherry, raspberry, and mineral flavors. Long finish. Retail $65

  MASTER BORGOGNA AIS; 10/15/2013-6/28/2014 (HOTEL WESTIN PALACE MILANO): 75% legno nuovo. 100% diraspato.
  Parcella al confine con Clos de la Roche, che fa sentire il nervosismo e l' irrequietezza tipica del cru.
  
  Al naso è un Clos de la Roche in miniatura: fiori rosa, sale, rossetto e mineralità amara.
  In bocca è ancora giovane e un pò nervoso, le tonalità amaricante del pompelmo rosa donano molta freschezza e bevibilità.
  Forse un pò troppo sapido e non molto bilanciato
