With stuffed pork chops and pea pods. Very light ruby, certainly not at all saturated. Light cherry nose, maybe a hint of rose. 1st palate very tart cherry, light, almost delicate, maybe hints of raspberry and strawberry. Short. This wine was close to a rose.

Light ruby color. Fresh cherries, juicy raspberries, rose petals and red licorice aromas, so damn light and airy. Tangy acid on the palate, and the tannins are fine but offer structure. I like the tartness to the cherry fruit mixed with the sweet strawberries. Some herbal and earth tones make for more than a simple sipping red. Crisp, bright, this wine would be as comfortable on the patio as it would be on the dinner table. A solid buy at $19.

Started off the Christmas debauchery with this one, and what a great start! Love this one, always killer qpr.

Willamette with a touch of Wedding Planning (or vice versa); 7/2/2014-7/4/2014 (Willamette Valley): This is meant to be the entry level Pinot and it shows. It's a bit of muted dirty red fruit and really nothing else. Suspect that is what the wine maker was going for.
