Pulled straight out of the cellar way too late in the evening and given no time to breathe or even get up to room temperature. Still easily the WOTN. Always been a favourite of mine and this is yet another fantastic bottle. So much rich velvety fruit.

Quite rich but with a big structure. Smoky damson and black cherry along with balsamic. Medium finish and straightforward. Drink now but will be better in 5 years.

A distinctly French wine with lots of sweet delicious fruit, with strong nuances of coffee and scorched dark earth. Reminds me a bit of a good old Cote Rotie.Gained weight for 2 hours and slightly declined after that. This is obviously at peak now and just super for money. Drink

Deep ruby with violet hue, browning fading edges, and visible stain on glass. Aromas of ripe cassis, blackberry and plum, a sweetish hint of caramel, speculoos, toffee, bit of rocket leaves, and paprika. Full bodied, with freshness of acids and good structured tannina yet not overbearing, ripe cassis and blackberry flavours, sweetish cinnamon, mocha and Kirsch. The ripe fruits persist very well towards a lengthy finish, with waves of dark florals and spices. Great wine!

Second time drinking this in a week. Definitely a Tertre Light...I don't want to ruin the fun, but the gaminess is actually just a big dollop of brett that works really nice under the excellent wood treatment. Really classy and roasty and fun to drink. Drink!
