Very nice wine although not necessarily as pleasant as a recent 08 GIII. As with the GIII, no excessive ripeness or heat but more acidic and not quite as balanced and delicious. Again, red fruits and modest tannin. I would start drinking these as not convinced they get better with age.

As others mentioned, in a great spot after an hour or two in the decanter. Minor amount of sediment, so either stand upright for a bit or get your strainer. More classic in style for Napa and the wine is well balanced and integrated. This wine is in its drinking window so feel free to pop a cork with confidence.
Consumed with Prime NY strip and it worked very well. Plenty of other tasting note descriptors from the community so I’ll leave it at that.

After a two hour decant, this wine displayed a well balance of fruit, spice, wood, tobacco, and loam notes for a long finish. Silky tannins held the flavors in a nice balance. This wine is at its peak.

Decanted for about an hour. As the prior review states, the wine is quite silky with the fruit showing through the resolved tannins. Underlying tobacco actually brings a sophistication to the wine. Enjoyed with Elk chops. My last bottle in the cellar. I would drink within the year for those with any bottles in cellar. Quite enjoyable wine.

14.6% abv. 100% cab. A relatively thin and higher acidity cab for Napa. Will appeal to those who like European wine.
